APRIL BOOK CLUB

INDEPENDENT BOOKSTORE DAY

Join us on the last Saturday in April to celebrate Independent Bookstore Day! This is an opportunity to show your support for local bookstores and the important role they play in the community. We’ll have food, prizes, fun announcements, and more!

SILENT BOOK CLUB

Monday, May 13th @ 6:00pm

Join us for our Silent Book Club! SBC is an opportunity for you to unwind with a book in the company of fellow book lovers. There’s no assigned reading, no discussion questions, and small talk is optional. It’s like an introvert happy hour.

Reserve your spot, and then all you have to do is bring yourself and a book. We’ll provide the space for you to relax and read with friends. This group is facilitated by Aimee.

AUTHOR APPEARANCE

Thursday, May 23rd from 2pm – 5pm

The Curiosity Shop is pleased to host Dr. Caroline Crocker to read from Unforgivable, the coquel to Brave Face. Can Meta, the half-German heroine of Brave Face, find love with Frits, a part-Jewish boy, in the aftermath of WWII? Will he be able to forgive? Could you?

Come and hear a reading from the explosive true story from World War II, with special appearance from Meta herself.
